PRIME PMG's methodology featured in new textbook, "Business Driven Information Systems"

PRIME PMG's methodology, PRIME® (PRocesses In a Monitored Environment) is cited in the Strategic Decision Making chapter of a new business textbook created for use in Australian and New Zealand Universities.

"Business Driven Information Systems" was developed for the Pacific Rim by Paige Baltzan, Amy Phillips, Kathy Lynch and Peter Blakey and provides an innovative and regionalised approach to management information systems (MIS). Chapter two (Strategic Decision Making) includes a section on Business Process Management (BPM) where PRIME PMG's methodology is presented to illustrate how BPM is used to improve organisational agility and performance.

The text is considered unique in its approach of discussing business iniatives first and how technology supports those iniatives second. The premise for this approach is that business iniatives drive technology choices in an organisation.
